The Buffalo Bisons honored the Queen City Softball League at their first-ever “LGBT Night” at Coca-Cola Field. Members of each QCSL team were invited onto the field for the opening-pitch ceremonies.

The event marked the first time a professional sporting organization in Western New York has created an official event for the LGBTQ community. The national anthems were sung by out actor Marc Sacco, recipient of the 2008 Artvoice Theater Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical. The evening also featured entertainment and trivia by and for the LGBTQ community.

QCSL is honored to have been included in such a progressive event at the ballpark, and speaks to the spirit of Buffalo, NY.
