2020 Season Update

April 1, 2020 2020 Season News

Update from the Queen City Softball League:

Due to physical distancing guidelines set forth by local and federal governments, and after serious consideration by the QCSL Board, the league has made the difficult decision to delay the start of the 2020 season until further notice.

Please note, our Registration Form remains open, however we have temporarily suspended the collection of registration fees.  Once our path forward is more clear, we will contact any players that have registered to complete their registration payment.  If any players have already completed their payment and would like a refund, please contact us.  If any player registration fees are not refunded, they will be held as a credit for future registration fees.

Postponing the 2020 season was one of the most difficult decisions that the league has had to make, but QCSL is operating with an abundance of caution for our members, supporters, and the community as a whole. We hope to host a shortened 2020 season, but we are continually monitoring the situation and will continue to make announcements through our News page and our Facebook and Twitter accounts.  Stay tuned!

We also strongly encourage everyone to follow guidelines set forth by the CDC, Erie County Department of Health, and the New York State Governor’s Office.  Be as safe as possible so we can stop the spread and get back on the fields when it is responsible to do so.  Above all else, protect yourself, maintain social distance, and keep washing those hands!
